Wooden huts on the meadow at 3,300 m, looking straight at the Rakhiot face of Nanga Parbat.

Set expectations correctly and you will love it: these are mountain huts, not hotels. Solar lighting that comes and goes, a bucket of hot water on request, blankets rather than heating, and the best view from a bed in Pakistan. No road reaches them — the last three hours are on foot or by mule.
