About Pahardi Travels
Who we are
Pahardi Travels grew out of a camera and a set of valleys. Muhammad Khan — Pahardi — began filming the north and posting it; the requests to come along arrived on their own. The company exists to answer those requests properly rather than informally.
Today we run sixteen tours across fifteen valleys, from a four-day run to Fairy Meadows to a twenty-one-day expedition up the Baltoro glacier to K2 base camp. Most of our travellers are Pakistani — families from Lahore and Karachi seeing Hunza for the first time, groups of friends chasing the April blossom, couples who want Skardu without assembling six separate bookings. A growing number are overseas Pakistanis and foreign trekkers coming for Deosai, Rush Lake and Concordia.
Alongside the tours we book hotels, run our own fleet, and handle visa documentation for international guests. We also work the other direction — ticketing, umrah and outbound travel for people who live in these valleys, which is a quiet but steady part of the year.

To run trips that put money into the valleys we travel through: local drivers, local guides, family guesthouses and porters paid the going rate. And to be honest about the north — its seasons, its roads and its limits — because the people who come back are the ones who were told the truth first.

How it works
From first message to the road
- Step 1
You tell us roughly
A region and a rough month is enough. Most enquiries start as "we have eight days in July".
- Step 2
We come back with a plan
A day-by-day route, one all-in price, and the honest constraints for those dates — including when your dates do not work.
- Step 3
You confirm with 25%
The advance holds your seat, the vehicle and the rooms. Balance seven days before departure.
- Step 4
We run it
Local guide, local driver, and a coordinator on WhatsApp for the whole trip. Route changes handled on the ground.
How we work
Six things we do not compromise on
The price is the price
Transport, hotels, guide, park fees and jeeps are in the number on the card. Flights are the only thing quoted separately, and every page says so.
Local by default
Our drivers and guides are from the valleys they work in. That is why we can find a room in Karimabad in August and reroute within an hour when the KKH closes.
Bad news early
Deosai does not open in June. Skardu flights cancel. The Raikot jeep track is exposed. You hear all of it before you pay, not after.
Groups stay small
Six to sixteen. Enough to be sociable, few enough to fit one boat on Attabad and one table at dinner.
Money stays in the valleys
Family guesthouses, union jeeps at union rates, porters paid the going rate rather than the lowest one.
