How our Skardu prices work
Every price in the table is for 2 persons, for the whole private tour, in Pakistani rupees. Private means only you and the people you book with, in your own vehicle, on the dates you choose.
Each tour comes in three travel categories. The route stays the same; the hotels and the extras change. Essential is comfortable, thoughtfully planned travel. Signature adds enhanced comfort and upgraded experiences. Elite is premium stays and elevated private experiences.
The table is read straight from our tour pages, so it always shows the current price. When a price changes, it changes here too.
The hotels behind each category
Each travel category has its own list of Skardu hotels, shown on every tour page under Essential, Signature and Elite. Elite, for example, includes Shangrila Resort on Lower Kachura.
If you want one particular hotel, choose it when you customize the tour. We check that it has rooms on your dates and confirm it with your quotation.
What changes the price
The number of guests. Our prices are for 2 persons. For a family or a group of friends we send a quotation for your group, usually the same day.
The length and the route. Each extra day adds a night in the hotel, the vehicle and the driver, and places further out, such as Khaplu or Deosai, add distance.
The travel category. Between Essential, Signature and Elite the itinerary stays the same; the hotels and extras are what you pay for.
Flights. Air tickets between Islamabad and Skardu are not included unless your quotation says so. We can book them for you, and because Skardu flights are often cancelled for weather, fly-in trips are planned with a road option.
Add-ons. A professional photographer and videographer, or a trekking guide, is added only if you ask for one. Their day rates are under Additional Travel Services on our Tours page.
Autumn tours and horse riding
The three Autumn tours in the table carry this season's own prices, for the weeks when the poplars of Skardu and Shigar turn gold.
Horse riding around Skardu is priced per person, per day, and includes the horse, a caretaker, kitchen staff and two meals a day.
